"Bridging Academia and Real-World Industry Insights" Panel Discussion - 8th March 2025

On 8th March 2025, Yantriksha X Hub hosted an electrifying panel discussion titled "Bridging Academia and Real-World Industry Insights", which brought ten distinguished alumni back to campus to share their personal and professional journeys. The event went beyond the traditional format, offering an engaging and interactive experience that allowed students to gain firsthand knowledge from those who have successfully navigated the challenges of both academia and industry.

The panel was not just about accolades and achievements; it was about real, honest stories of triumphs and failures. These alumni shared deep insights from their careers, recounting not only the milestones that defined their professional lives but also the obstacles they faced and how they overcame them. Their experiences offered invaluable lessons that go far beyond textbooks and lecture halls.

The event attracted students from all departments, who were eager to hear from the experts. The alumni encouraged open dialogue, answering questions and sharing practical advice on navigating the professional world. They also fostered group discussions, imparting their knowledge about what it takes to build a successful career and how to make the most of opportunities in the real world.

After the formal panel, the alumni spent additional time with the Yantriksha X Hub team, engaging in conversations about the future of the club. They were deeply impressed by the initiative and independence demonstrated by the students, and many expressed their eagerness to continue contributing their expertise to help the club grow. They committed to offering ongoing mentorship and guidance, ensuring that the students have the support they need as they work towards their goals.

Mentorship Session with Arvind Sir and Sivakumar Sir

In the afternoon, Dr. Arvind AR and Prof. Sivakumar Sir held a special mentorship session, where they listened intently to the ideas shared by students. Their feedback was not only constructive but also encouraging, pushing the students to think creatively and broaden their horizons. Their expert guidance led to the generation of around 20 new ideas during the session, and the team took careful note of all the discussions, ensuring that these innovative concepts are preserved and used for future development.

The mentorship session proved to be an incredibly productive and enriching experience for the students, helping them refine their ideas and take them closer to becoming reality.
